Hello! Welcome to my website. I'm Faithlina. 

I’m an Indian artist and illustrator living in Chennai, India. My work is inspired by water sports, travel, and fashion.

Drawing and creativity have always been a part of my life, and the past decade of working in marketing and the fashion industry gave it room to grow.  

Most of what I know about painting comes from fashion illustrations, attending a fashion designing short course at Central Saint Martins, London, and additionally dedicating the past few years to exploring various mediums, including digital art, watercolour, gouache, acrylics, inks, and calligraphy styles, painting on boxes and fabrics, practicing architectural drawings, and studying art through several books, all dedicated to finding my own voice as a creative and an artist.

 

My current work includes paintings and prints inspired by fashion week, and time spent surfing and travelling. I intend to continue reinventing myself, exploring a range of art projects from fine art to illustrating for books & book covers, all while maintaining that minimalistic style and imperfectly perfect pieces with pleasant colours, expressing a vibrant spirit and adding colour and happiness to every space.
